Now anyone can create own wearables.

Created by Community
The joy from customization and unexpected combinations of various wearables is what makes the Dava NFT attractive. After migration to Polygon, the team published various wearables through community events and collaborations with external brands, but the amount and type of wearables were not enough to satisfy the diverse tastes of the community. Additionally, the drawback of the strict wearable issuing process had a significant impact because the rarity score of the wearable was closely related to the incentive.
This community wearable creation feature is being piloted under the name “Craft.” As wearables issued by Craft do not affect the rarity score, you will be able to express your creativity and senses from a creator’s perspective. We look forward to seeing what intriguing community chemistry emerges and what fascinating developments occur with Dava NFTs following the beta version’s release.
Usage Guide
Through a total of 5 steps, you can create wearables with your ideas.
1. Enter the Craft Page
After connecting to 0xDAVA, click the hammer icon on the left to enter the Craft page. Craft is a holder-exclusive menu, and to enter Craft, you must connect a wallet with one or more DAVA Humanoid.
If verification is successful, you will see the following Craft tools:
2. Download the Template
The first item in the craft tool is Image. This is where you upload the image of the wearable, and you can download a zip file by clicking the here link. If you unzip the file, you will find a PSD file of a wearable design template.
PSD files can be edited with either Adobe Photoshop or free online image tools like Photopea.
3. Create the Wearable Image
The template file consists of 9 layers, from Instruction to Background Layer. Instruction contains simple instructions, so you can delete it after reading it. The remaining 8 layers make up the actual DAVA.
Among the layers, the layer marked with (Skeleton) corresponds to the humanoid body. Other layers have various example items marked with (Example). You can create wearables by referring to them.
Recently, there have been numerous services that use AI to generate images. As an example, I created the image below in Midjourney to make a Background wearable. You can create an image that goes well with DAVA’s drawing style by adding the cartoon + bold outline keyword.
I placed this image in the Background Layer to see if it fits in well with the example items.
After checking, hide all layers except the wearable image you have created, and export it as a PNG file. The wearable must be 1000x1000px in size, but the template has already been adjusted, so you can just export it as it is.
4. Fill out the Craft form
Return to 0xDAVA’s Craft menu and fill out the form.
- Image: Upload the wearable image you created.
- Name: In front of your name, a preface is automatically inserted to indicate that it is a community-made wearable.
- Description: The author’s wallet address is automatically inserted at the end of the written description.
- Max Supply: Available from minimum of 1 to 9999.
- Category: Select the category of the wearable you have uploaded.
If you click the Submit button, you Sign about the message, and a registration completion message will appear after a while.
5. Snapshot.org Vote
Proposals are automatically posted on snapshot.org as new wearables are registered. It will also be announced on the Dava Community Discord and will be voted on by holders. Through this process, cool and creative wearables are accepted, while overly low-quality or poorly issued wearables are rejected.
Voting lasts for 7 days, with a quorum of 200. Wearable is published and automatically sent to the author’s wallet if a majority of voters have voted for publication by the end of the voting. Each DAVA Humanoid holder can cast one vote.
